When we celebrate Holy Communion, we welcome all to receive the Lord's Supper. Join us for Coffee Hour following the worship service. We gather together to enliven, encourage, and take joy with our fellow disciples, and to drink strong coffee and eat home made baked goods!
We livestream our services through our Facebook page at 9:30 AM. A full video recording will be available afterwards on ourYouTube channel
St. John’s Strawberry Festival & Craft Fair June 17th featuring live music, crafts, kids’ games, food, strawberry desserts & more
The second annual Strawberry Festival & Craft Fair at St. John’s will offer something for the eyes, ears and palates June 17th, rain or shine. The event will be held from 11am-4pm in the grove across the road from the church. In case of rain, all activities will be held inside. The church’s grove will be filled with crafters displaying a wide variety of goods, and the bandstand will feature popular area musicians Jim Loftus (keyboard/vocals) and Jim Brekus (acoustic guitar/vocals) from 11:30am-3:30pm. The duo performed last year as part of the classic rock group, “Vinyl Persuasion,” and again will offer pop rock music from the ‘60s and ‘70s. (They’re known to encourage requests!) Throughout the festival, hot dogs and barbeque sandwiches, chips and beverages will be available for purchase, as will the feature of the day - strawberry desserts. An assortment of baked goods will also be for sale. We will be offering free children’s games and a raffle, too. Festival attendees are invited to bring lawn chairs or picnic blankets. No alcoholic beverages are permitted on the grounds.
Crafters wishing to participate have until June 10th to submit an application, found below.
