Worship here at St. John's is:

Grace-led: We always center our message in the ever-creative, forgiving, and liberating Word of God in Jesus. We hope you see this most clearly in our preaching, our peace-sharing, and the church's Sacraments - Baptism and Holy Communion.

Liturgical: Our worship shaped by the works of generations of the church. Truly, we believe the Spirit was present in their, and is faithful among us to this day. We find strength in our liturgies being guided by thousands of years of prayer, and the components of our worship date back to the early Christian church. When we worship, we don't believe it's just us, but that we're surrounded and upheld in the church eternal.

Musical: We participate together in the music of the church - spanning from the 1st to 21st centuries (and longer if you count some of the Psalms). We sing together with all the saints, and believe that God wants your voice to sing too! You'll find some of us have good voices, and some others don't. We hope your voice joins ours in prayer and praise.

Child-friendly: We believe that everyone who comes here has been called here - that includes children and infants. Sunday school lessons are intended to feed and prepare kids for worship. Children lead us in singing. Each week has a children's chat. You'll find coloring pages for kids who are old enough for them. If your child is on the autism spectrum, we also have activity bags for them to keep engaged during worship. We encourage families to stay together in worship, but a supervised nursery is provided for kids 3 and up, and there's a changing room for the youngest disciples.
